Abstract
Describing and interrogating a performing arts programme at the Victoria Youth Custody Services Centre, KRISTA HAGSTROM, ALLANA C. LINDGREN , and WARWICK DOBSON consider how such projects complicate binary responses—requiring open yet cautious responses. While carefully weighing the successes and failures of such projects, the authors urge a stronger "alliance between the Canadian justice system and the arts."
