Abstract
He has an enviable number of titles of “The First” since the Foundation of People’s Republic of China. He was the first graduate student in engineering management through systematic education and a member of the first Chinese delegation of management experts to visit the U.S.A. He was the first doctoral supervisor and the first advisor of post-doctoral mobile stations in the field of management engineering of China. He was one of the founding fathers of the first management schools and wrote Production Organization, the first book of management education in China. It was him who first applied system engineering methods to research in educational system engineering, advocating cultivation of senior management professional out of engineers.
