Abstract

On the basis of statistical indices, cereal crop varieties released during the past 20 years in the Tyumen oblast are assessed with respect to plasticity, stability, and ecological stability and the relation between yielding ability and adaptability parameters is given. An increase of productivity and variability of yielding ability of varieties of all cereal crops and decrease of their stress resistance are noted. A negative dependence of stress resistance on variability of yielding ability and responsiveness of crops and positive dependence on homeostasis are found.
