Abstract
We report for the first time a coherent yellow-orange radiation at 590 nm by self-sum-frequency generation of the 1060 and 1332 nm laser-lines of the Nd:YCOB crystal. With a diode pump power of 14.3 W, the maximum yellow-orange output power of 286 mW is obtained. The power stability is better than 3.6%. The beam quality M2 value is about 1.32.
