Abstract

Businesses have to manage their supply chain by taking into account the effective and equal use of natural resources. This situation brings with it the concept of green supply chain. Business X is a perfect example of a business that adapts to the needs of this century with its Sustainable Life Plan. The aim of this study is to measure the impact of adoption of Green Supply Chain Management practices on the operational efficiency of the business. The research demonstrates a qualitative research characteristic, and the data was obtained through interviews with supply chain managers of the business concerned. The results show that implementing this practice does also create value through out the chain and boosts optimization.
