Abstract

Why study cell aging and cell death, in yeast? Most of us have heard these questions before, sometimes from fellow colleagues. Reports from National Institute of Aging (National Institutes of Health), the World Health Organization, and other relevant organizations, outline the substantial challenges related to aging that we will face in the next decade.
