Abstract
A diode-pumped Yb:CALGO laser with intracavity conical refraction (CR) was demonstrated. The laser produced an excellent quality CR beam where the bright concentric rings are distinguishable and separated by a Poggendorff dark ring. The maximum output power obtained in the CR laser beam was >6W.
