Abstract
We present the results of development of an optical frequency standard based on Yb:YAG laser with second harmonic at 515 nm. The laser frequency is locked to the saturated-absorption resonance in a gas cell filled with molecular iodine. Final instability of the standard is 1.3×10–15 at 104 s.
