Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Hippo-YAP signaling pathway has been established as a crucial regulator of tissue growth and tumorigenesis but the mechanism for transcriptional control remains unclear. In their study, Galli et al. show that YAP/TAZ binding is restricted to a small number of gene enhancers and that YAP/TAZ regulates transcriptional elongation by recruiting the Mediator complex.
