Lear Bernadette A. Lear Penn State Harrisburg Library Bernadette Lear is Behavioral Sciences and Education Librarian at Penn State's Harrisburg campus. She earned her MLS from Rutgers and is currently a graduate student in Penn State Harrisburg's American Studies program. She is immediate past-chair of the Library History Round Table of the American Library Association and her research focuses on American libraries, librarianship, and reading culture during the Gilded Age and Progressive Era.
