R. ; Chitnis, E. V. ; Prakasarao, A. S. ; Jayanthi, U. B. Abstract Two rocket ifights carrying X-ray payloads were conducted from Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launch- ing Station (TERLS), Trivandrum, India, on November 3, 1968, and November 7, 1968, respectively. The first evidence for the existence of low-energy X-ray flux in the energy range 2-20 keV from the Cen X-2 source since its reported extinction in May 1967 is presented. The observed flux has the same energy spectrum as that observed in the high-energy range by Lewin el al. in October 1967 Publication: The Astrophysical Journal Pub Date: August 1969 DOI: 10.1086/180401 Bibcode: 1969ApJ...157L.127R full text sources ADS |
