Abstract

In the process of detection and diagnose, it has always been hoped that X-ray could focus imaging as visible light, which is one of key technologies to improve diagnostic precision of X-ray. However, visible-light-focusing system, of which the refractive index is very small for X-ray and the absorption is very strong, could not used to focus X-ray. People can only try another method. In recent years, scientists have invented a new X-ray refractive optics --- X-ray compound refractive lens (CRL), which is composed of many double-concave lens superimposed in line array. In this article, we show the process of fabrication of CRL, which is made of Aluminum, Magnesium and Silicon. We tried several different process methods and compared them, and then we built a test platform, on which all the CRL were tested. Finally, we obtained some focal spot images, and made a few proposals for the future work.
