Abstract
CuAlSe2 crystals grown by CVT(Chemical Vapor Transport) method were supplied to the surface analysis of XPS in detail. Chemical shift of Cu due to Cu-O and Cu-Se bonds was clearly observed It was known that oxidation starts after growth and the degree depends on the growth condition of the target crystal. Al is lacking near surface region due to its high reactivity Copper and selenium are stable and distribute almost uniformly.
