Abstract
Objectivity is not only a fundamental element in the documents which are published but also a requirement to give those publications an academic character. In this way, the quality of being impartial transcends the training of researchers and the research system in Higher Education centres. However, objectivity has been questioned , particularly by the well known Frankfurt School, since the middle of the 20th century and at present, in the context of an evident crisis of knowledge, it is manifested in the insistent necessity for innovation in various fields. The purpose of this work is to establish the relationship between such objectivity in the training of researchers and its impact on the crisis of knowledge that is expressed in the clamor for innovation nowadays. In its development, the research methodology, whose results are set out in this descriptive document, is qualitative and comes from the bibliographical review and analysis of documents by Latin American authors such as Zemelman, Quijano, Dussel as well as the regional committee of Social Sciences -CLACSO.The results reflects the criticism of the current training of researchers centred on the objectivity which compared with the impact of it on the crisis of knowledge that remains static leading to the conclusion that there is an urgent need to empower alternative methodologies in which an active integration of the subject and an innovative process is possible and necessary.
