Abstract

Calculation resuits are given which show the effect of nonzero power coefficients on the xenon axial osciliation threshold flux. Threshoid values are also given for flux tilt oscillations in a cylindrical reactor with a flattened radial power distribution. The calculations were performed on the basis of the material buckling required to excite the first harmonic. The oscillation period at the threshold is shown as a function of the threshold flux level. (auth)
