Abstract
In the paraelectric phase at room temperature (well above T c ) optical absorption (in the 200–800 nm wavelength range) and dielectric properties (frequency range 10 2 to 8 × 10 5 Hz and temperature range ≈30°C to 150°C) of KH 2PO 4 have been studied before and after irradiating with X-rays. Significant changes in these properties of the compound have been observed.
