Abstract
The possibility of using a tightly focused of a femtosecond ytterbium fiber laser beam interacting with a metal target in the air as an X-ray source is considered. The results of the generation of line X-ray with a number of photons more than 105 photons/s in solid angle for X-ray microscopy are discussed.
