Abstract

Existential fear is an essential human quality. It’s objectless, man is unable to determine definitely the reason of its existence. We hide and we can’t help it. Fear inhibits our cognition and decrease motivation to take action. Its effects has significant influence on mental health and interpersonal relationships. Awareness of the fear of death can positively affect quality of one’s life. Existential anxiety can lead to decrease of self-esteem. To level and neutralize existential anxiety and its effects one has approach this with distance and reserve.
