Abstract

Human actions aimed at satisfying the “sexual need” are complicated – they move many different mechanisms and go far beyond sexuality itself, and only in the case of the human species, in phylogenetic terms, we talk about eroticism encompassing sexuality together with the sphere of feelings, intellect and the sphere of the psyche. Sexual health should be understood holistically, which is important in both medical and pharmacy care. In the practice of a family doctor, sexual problems are reported by patients of different ages-particular aspects of the aging are discussed.
