Abstract
In 2018, New Zealand published new guidelines and (PREDICT) equations for calculating and managing 5-year cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. The equations are derived from New Zealand populations including Māori, Pasifika and low SES. Although new equations have been gradually rolled out to primary care, a need was identified to create an accessible CVD tool that could be used by the public, and in community and workplace settings.
