Abstract
This article announces that the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has adopted a new wind‐power initiative that will eventually account for one third of the utility's electricity needs. Under its wind‐power initiative, WSSC is contracting with Constellation Energy Projects & Services Group Inc. of Baltimore, Maryland, to purchase power from a wind farm to be constructed in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
