Abstract

Objective: Despite advances in research and improvements in care, unacceptable disparities in CF outcomes exist between developed and low-and middle-income countries (LMIC). A primary factor responsible for worse CF outcomes in LMIC is the paucity of specialized networks of CF centers with expert multidisciplinary teams to manage the disease process. We report the implementation of a sustainable training program for CF Centers in LMIC to improve the quality of care, clinical outcomes, and life expectancy.
