Abstract

Summary An imbricate thrust belt and a geometrically related wrench-fault terrain are reported from the Antalya Complex, SW Turkey. The deformation occurred between late Cretaceous and Miocene time along a former Mesozoic rifted continental margin. The thrusting appears to have been temporally and mechanically related to at least the early stages of wrench tectonics.
