Abstract

This article discusses the problem of communist activity in the Polish trade union movement in the years 1918–1939. It seems that communists’ influence on trade unions was greatest at the beginning of the Second Polish Republic, in the early 1930s, and in the years 1936–1937. The author presents the state of research on this topic and formulates research questions for the future.
