Abstract

The paper briefly characterized the principle of the polarimetric current sensor, which directly follows from the definition of the Faraday effect. There is presented a method of determining the Verdet constant of the fiber and a technique for calculating the effective mass of the electron. Using these equations, the influence of the magnetic field present around the conductor with current can be determined. The influence of magnetic field on the mass of the electron and current measurement error polarimetric sensor can be determined. There are formulated the conclusions of the value of the current in the test phase conductor which does not affect the mass of the electron and corrective patterns possible to determine the actual value of the measured current using polarimetric sensor. (The impact of electron mass to the measurement error of current using polarimetric sensor)
