Abstract
Summary Wherefore? - Not why? Teleology in Adler’s philosophy and in the Bible This paper shows how certain descriptions of biblical characters can been seen as literary support for the teleological aspect of Adler’s philosophy. The biblical use of the question “wherefore?” is evidence of a teleological meaning. Adler’s thinking opens up a new perspective on biblical theology. The theological perspective can be seen as a key to deeper understanding of biblical characters.
