Abstract
I never thought I would be here. Well, that's actually not true. I knew I would, I just never thought it would happen so fast… 18 years in the blink of an eye. I am the proud father of four children, but I have only one daughter — so when it was time to start looking at colleges, a few things happened. First, I began to notice more gray hairs (I’m kidding, but not really). Second, and most relevant here, my wife and I slowly began to embrace the concept that our only daughter, the “2024” using competitive sports lingo, was now a high school senior, and she was no longer in elementary school. Time flies.
