Abstract
Abstract : This workshop took place at New York University, Courant Institute from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2, 1992. The aim of the workshop was to bring together computer scientists in transformational programming and parallel algorithm design in order to share ideas that might benefit both communities. Papers coming out of tne workshop will be published in a book entitled Parallel Algorithm Derivation and Program Transformation with Kluwer Academic Publishers.
