Abstract

The paper considers the features of the town-planning organization of workers' settlements of railway workers (WSR), which were formed on the basis of railway stations during the con. XIX - beg. XX centuries in Ukraine, and the history of the transformation of these territories in the structure of the city. PCa is considered as specific urban development objects and a valuable architectural and urban heritage. The relevance of the work is due to the advisability of an evolutionary view on the development of urbanized space and the adoption of effective decisions in the areas of formation of railway station complexes. Based on the analysis of historical experience that developed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Ukraine, three main types of prostate cancer and their specific role in the development of cities have been identified.. The town-planning formation of the Ukrainian breast cancer at the first stage (1860-1910) in many cases occurred under the influence of the ideologies of the Howard “garden cities” and avant-garde modernism. The development of part of the villages was spontaneous. In Ukraine, the doctrine of the Soviet workers' village dominated. The study proves that all prostate cancer were gradually integrated into the city functional planning structures, however, the scenarios for the transformation of their territories were different. The main town-planning characteristics of prostate cancer were determined: compactness, multifunctionality and compositional expressiveness. It is concluded that these space properties are inherent today in railway station complexes, which are formed at the station sections. The work outlines further prospects for the use of territories of workers' settlements of railway workers: - as integral objects of historical and architectural heritage based on the determination of their value; - the use of territorial resources of prostate cancer for the further development of railway station complexes with the preservation of certain building elements based on its revitalization.
