Abstract
Regulatory Standards (NRs) represent mandatory guidelines applicable to all companies, aiming to ensure the safety of their workers. In addition to mandatory guidelines for organizational functioning in general, they are supervised by several supervisory bodies. However, the lack of familiarity with these regulations, both on the part of employers and employees, continues to be a source of discussion. Knowledge of the main regulations is crucial within construction sites, as it establishes the rights and safety of workers, forming an essential conceptual basis for approaching Occupational Safety. A lack of understanding of these guidelines can result in inappropriate practices, putting the health and well-being of employees at risk. Therefore, familiarity with regulatory standards is not only necessary, but fundamental. This not only meets legal requirements, but also promotes the rights of the working class in relation to their safety and health.
