Abstract

The conference resulted in a unanimous vote by those present who are engaged in wool manufacture that a study of the subject discussed is worthwhile, and that the Insti tute be requested to develop ways and means of conducting it. It was suggested that the study of damage caused by heat, humidity and other factors involved in drying might be studied in connection with the Institute's textile drying research, provided money for hiring an assistant can be raised. A committee will be appointed by Chairman Appel of the Research Council to study the suggestions and the conference papers and discussion, and to report as soon as possible on a rescarch program and the method of or ganizing, financing and conducting it.
