Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the determinant affecting the women’s labor force in formal and informal sectors in Indonesia. The data used in this study is Cross Section data from the National Labor Force Survey 2014. Analysis of Multinomial Logit Regression shows that primary education, secondary education, tertiary education, age, and income significantly influence the women’s labor force participation in the formal sector. Meanwhile, primary education, secondary education, tertiary education, age, marital status, and income significantly influence the women’s labor force participation in the informal sector.
