Women's Dermatologic Society: Petals and pearls

Abstract

Petals and Pearls, published by the Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS), is a treasure trove of wisdom and perspective. It was obviously a labor of love for the many individuals involved in its creation. The concept was to present a compilation of memories, inspiration, and wisdom from physician leaders and mentors. The authors have succeeded in creating a work that captures much of the history of the society and the reflections of many who have contributed to our specialty. The layout and design are spectacular, and the chapters flow smoothly as a mix of history, professional experience, and personal insight.
