Abstract

(BMJ. 2021;375:n2526) Advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with a higher risk of preterm birth and low birthweight neonates. Studies exploring maternal and neonatal complications associated with CKD have been scarce. A large recent study examined predictive factors for the risk of complications and progression of kidney disease during pregnancy among patients with CKD.
