Abstract
In this essay, based on two concrete acts of violence against women in Mexico, I propose to link such violence with the counterinsurgency war against the people of Mexico in which, as a society, we have been immersed for more than a decade. Departing from that linkage, I propose the key to interdependence for the understanding of the triangular amalgam of patriarchal, capitalist, and colonial violence in which we deploy our struggles.
