Abstract
In this panel symposium, we seek to facilitate a rich discussion aimed at examining the social and organizational barriers that women in leadership face and identifying greater opportunities for the career advancement of women. Acknowledging that there is not a single story for all women leaders, our esteemed panelists will each shed light on the career experiences of a wide range of women in leadership positions across South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and North America. The panel will generate insights to direct future research and provide practical recommendations for promoting women to leadership positions in a variety of contexts.
