Abstract

This paper presents a lesson, which determines the relationship associated with work-life balance issues. The growing tendency of women participating in the workforce has contributed to the socioeconomic development and large number of women working in professional organizations is rising. Women play a significant role in delivering most promised service in the professional field like medical, judicial and chartered accountant. In addition to that, women professionals engage noteworthy role in the family care, housekeeping and performing other duties in the family side. Managing effective work-life balance is so what difficult to the working women professionals. In this direction, this present research work is carried out to test the factors affecting work-life balance of women professionals and collect their expectation from the employer for bringing effective work-life balance along with their recommendations. This study is conducted with the 100 women professionals; a detailed questionnaire is distributed with the intention to collect data of personal profile of respondents, factors influencing work-life balance, expectations from the workplace and suggestions to improve work-life balance. Convenience sampling and descriptive research design has been adopted to formulate this study. Percentage analysis, principal component factor analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, Garrett Score and chi-square test have been employed to test the worthiness of data collected. This study is concluded that various factors are having influence on the work-life balance of women professionals.
