Abstract
AbstractThis book review is an analysis of how the author’s have connected the Trump presidency to the continued and rampant abuse towards women in the United States. Bonnie Stabile and Aubrey Leigh Grant have detailed their research of sexual harassment and assault long being an issue in the American society, however it has been echoed by many politicians whom have the power to impact our rights with their beliefs. This review breaks down the main points detailed in Women, Power, and Rape Culture: The Politics & Policy of Underrepresentation, and presents an understanding of abuse of power on a government level and the maltreatment women face because of this.
