Abstract

WOMEN in EVER is supporting women researchers, clinicians and academic staff in their career development with a goal to prepare them for leadership roles in the scientific community.Globally, only 33 per cent of researchers are women. Women and girls represent half of the world's population and, therefore, also half of its potential. Gender equality, besides being a fundamental human right, is essential to achieve peaceful societies, with full human potential and sustainable development. It is our job to translate into reality a more equal and connected world for women scientists in all their diversity.
