Women Empowerment in Adolescent Girls in Urban Nepal

Abstract

Elaborating on how Women Empowerment has developed in Nepal, this research concentrates on women empowerment and its situation in urban setting in adolescent girls. Methods: This research employs the use of qualitative design for its research approach to explain women empowerment in adolescent girls in urban Nepal and also tries to find out the factors of influence in thier point of views. Findings: The findings have shown Adolescent girls in urban region of Nepal are more informed as a result of improved education and technological advancements. Conclusion: Essence of empowering women remains key drivers for upliftment of not only a woman within a certain region of the nation or a certain nation-state but women as a whole in a global context as in today’s era, creation of a globally resilient, socially active, emotionally stable and competent youth force comprising every gender is a major concern for both advanced and emerging economies throughout the world. Recommendation: this paper recommends to build critical consciousness about women empowerment in every adolescent girl so that they impart similar knowledge to the future generation as well as live by those codes assisting to end gender disparity.
