Abstract

Women, since the 17th century have proven to be the leading change in the growth of businesses. With recent exposures to the knowledge economy, more and more women are playing an active role in the growth of developed & developing economies. In the paper, the researcher aims to analyze the motivators in the role of women in creating, running, and growing businesses as fundamental institutions for economic growth. And also examining differences of gender participation across levels of development. The study follows an exploratory research design, a qualitative research methodology, where in-depth interviews were conducted with the candidates, their lived experiences were recorded and analyzed. The findings from the research demonstrate the strong motivators towards gender equality. The paper will throw light on women business leaders in the sporting sector in the UAE.
