Abstract

A 53-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with a lump in her left groin. She reported 7 months of a palpable lump that had become more swollen and painful in the prior 3 days. Physical examination revealed a firm, tender, nonreducible 2-cm mass in the left femoral triangle. The abdomen was soft, nondistended, and nontender. Laboratory evaluation was unremarkable. Soft tissue ultrasound of the mass was obtained (Figure 1) and prompted a computed tomography of the pelvis (Figure 2).
