Abstract

In this age of globalization, when the capitalists and imperial oligarchs destroy all borders to amass power and wealth, they create a world without borders, and this allows them to mercilessly manipulate people everywhere and to invade all private spheres. Now, we are experiencing a new colonialism and deeper exploitation than ever before on the planet. It aects us all blacks and whites, natives and immigrants, Muslims, Hindus, and Christians, women and men, old and young. And, alongside this new hegemony, there are other transnational forces. Doctors, lawyers, artists, librarians, sisters, writers, mothers, reporters, engi -neers, and now Sociologists without Borders. ese all are re”ective movements to crash/ break the monopolistic invasion of the masters of globalization. Sociologists without Borders (SSF), accompanied by other sin fronteras , must criticize the consequences of the domination of capital and power. ey must ask: € Which societies are under neo-colonial domination? € Which gr oups and minorities (ethnic, religious, racial, gender, labour . . .) are oppressed, segregated, and discriminated against? € Which workers and classes are at risk of poverty, malnutrition, and exploitation? € Which socio-cultural institutions, non-governmental organizations and communities are at risk of manipulation? ithout Wders, Bor sin fronteras (all these movements), have just one border which is Human Rights.
