Abstract

Abstract The AZ91D magnesium alloy for automobile engine was modified by plasma spraying and laser remelting, studied the microstructure, phase composition, frictionw the corrosion resistance of the plasma spraying and laser remelting coating are much better than that of the AZ91D magnesium alloy substrate, and the laser remelting coating has the smallest corrosion tendency and corrosion rate due to the dense and uniform coating structure, which shows the best corrosion resistance.
