Abstract

Aluminium hybrid composites are mostly required in industrial materials because of their combined properties. This Present paper Investigate wear behaviour of Al7075 Hybrid micro metal matrix composites SiC and Al2O3 micro particles. The composite prepared using liquid casting techniques stir casting which is the promising technique for aluminium MMC fabrication. Input experiment parameters considered as load applied, dry sliding velocity and sliding distance for conducting wear tests on pin-on-disc device. Parameters were taken in three levels as per L20 design and effect of these factors is observed by Analysis of variance modelling. Mathematical equations formulated by the modelling results and interaction of factors were studied.
