Abstract
Abstract Construction industry is much better development in this 21st century; new innovative alternate materials are needed for next stage of works. Especially steel taking major role in the market, maximum structural works are constructed by steel frame only, due to environmental condition the corrosion will be occur. Alternate of steel is required for the industry, based on that bamboo splits like 0.7 m,1.2 m and 2 m are used for the flexural members also its adopt by 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of replacement of steel bar to bamboo member with M25 grade of concrete. The curing time was taken as 28, 56 and 84 days, after that flexural strength values are obtained and utilization of new ANNOVA software and Taguchi method are used to found the optimization values from this study, maximum load carrying capacity of flexural strengths are obtained and the results of 25% BRC flexural members are attained good strength. In this work to obtain the optimization value of flexural behavior of bamboo/steel concrete members.
