Abstract
We report the green synthesis of nontoxic, stable, and small-size silver nanoparticle by Vitis vinifera leaf aqueous extract with reducing/capping ability without any toxic reducing agents. The in situ prepared Ag NPs were characterized by Fourier Transformed Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) study. The treated cells with Ag NPs were assessed by MTT assay for 48h about the cytotoxicity and anti-human gastric cancer properties on gastric cancer cell lines i.e. NCI-N87, MKN45 and GC1415. The IC50 of Ag NPs were 72, 51 and 43 µg/mL against NCI-N87, MKN45 and GC1415 cell lines, respectively. The viability of malignant gastric cell lines reduced dose-dependently in the presence of Ag NPs. In the antioxidant test, the IC50 of Ag NPs and BHT against DPPH free radicals were 81 and 45 µg/mL, respectively.
