Abstract

Abstract The Internet of Things (IOT) move towards various technologies to renovate the agriculture and raise the effectiveness and yield of the crops. The main purpose of this paper is crop monitoring system in a smart way based on IOT. This smart IOT based approach consists of three sensors, a WiFi module and a dc motor, to measure and display the different parameters for the crop. The sensors present in the circuit are pH sensor, soil moisture sensor and water level monitoring sensor. By smart agricultural monitoring system air and water will be given to the crop. Then the sensors forward the data to microcontroller to store and process the data, again this data send to IOT platform using WiFi connection. GSM modem receives the data values from the controller and sends notification to registered mobile number, Any sensor device values exceed the predefined threshold then also it sends notification to mobile. This work is proposed to provide some assistance to farmers in real-time crop monitoring, continuously observing, accomplishing exactness agriculture, in this manner increase the rice production. Consequently computerized control of water sprinkling and extreme gracefully of data to farmers is done as a result of this project using wireless sensor network with IOT Platform.
