Abstract

• In present research deals with zirconium carbide (ZrC) based titanium metal matrix which is formed through stir casting route. ZrC is mixed to the titanium with 3, 5 and 7 weight percentages. • The substance properties have been measured for the stir casted samples. Based on the comparison of substance properties, titanium composite with 7% of ZrC has been considered for this research. • The synthesized titanium composite is processed under laser beam machining process (LBM). The response factors such as material deduction rate (MDR) and surface roughness (SR) are measured. • The effects of response factors with the control factors have been studied through variance analysis. The applications of new synthesized metals are using in different fields.
