Abstract
The methanolic extract of Withania coagulans yielded two withanolides, 20( β)-hydroxy-1-oxo-(22 R)-witha-2,5,24-trienolide ( 1) and withacoagulin ( 2) along with a known steroidal lactone. Their structures were elucidated using spectroscopic techniques.
